exactly @PieChart Here is a comparison of ICE vehicles compared to EV. Back in 2017 that figure was for a Tesla Model S
Today the figure is lower for Electric vehicles as the Tesla Model Y & 3 are the front runners in the space. They contain approx 130Lb of copper.
All in all it looks likely there will be a significant shortfall in available copper globally sometime in the next 9 years. Even then the US is only talking about 50% integration of zero emission vehicles so room for a further 50%.
