"Inflation is disappearing"

I'm not so sure about disappearing ... it's easing but remains high, very high and as a result interest rates need to be targeted to be above the rate of inflation. We're in the hands of Jerome Powell and he hasn't changed his stance about the 2% inflation target. Maybe a bit of light reading on his recent pressers might help.
