"Inflation is disappearing"
I'm not so sure about disappearing ... it's easing but remains high, very high and as a result interest rates need to be targeted to be above the rate of inflation. We're in the hands of Jerome Powell and he hasn't changed his stance about the 2% inflation target. Maybe a bit of light reading on his recent pressers might help. You selected shipping rates to support your view. That's only one of many indicators at play right now, most others are embedded, locked in, with some getting worse by the day, the war, debt----relying on one indicator, wow!
