Tesla was also reported last year to have signed significant nickle supply deals with the Chinese owned Indonesian nickel producers; ie, the dirtiest nickle producers on earth. There was a report last week of a riot and razing at one of the Chines owned nickel producers in Indonesia.
Elon has to feed his machine. The greenwashing is just marketing. Maybe good intentions but not the reality. Mark my words. Tesla is going to become the MAGA redneck EV brand.
