The question is, why would you buy a car that can go over 300 miles for a lot of money when you can buy one cheap that has less power, but, is safer and lasts 2-3 times longer? Especially if you drive less t
han 50kms a day. How often do you need to drive 300 miles?

i think i came across a bit wrong, i dodnt mean it would be phazed out completely, but LFP is rapidly growing its market share and will be the dominant battery by 2030.
Coincides with the cobalt price falling 50% in the last year.
Of course there will be demand for Cobalt and particularly nickel but not as much what was previously thought. China is dominating LFPs and I'm sure others will follow suit once they realize they can't get hands on raw materials and even if they do, the mass market won't be willing to pay the extra cost.
