Copper Price news, page-492

Here's a basics question sorry, I've only recently moved into copper as part of my battery minerals portfolio - I understand those Cu miners producing concentrate need their product to be smelted and refined, so they would get an offtake agreement with a smelter. How does it work with those like CYM doing leach and producing copper plate?
Can we stockpile it if the copper price is low, and drip feed into the London Metal Exchange as prices rise?
Just haven't seen a lot of detail of how the downstream works past Barry saying 'we will be producing copper plate H2-23'.
