I believe there is a very conscious effort not to expend cash on unnecessary exploration. Adding tonnes is not going to change much, if anything, at this stage by drilling infill, extensional or exploration targets.. Takes some discipline for a board to do this when the SP and SHs 'suffer' from stagnation and declines. Not too much they can do about these things especially with a deposit that is low on the grade curve that takes a lot for the market to recognise as a viable option. Economy of scale could/will change that.....
The lack of announcements is one reason the Lassonde curve syndrome kicks in between discovery and development.
