    We might be seeing the start of the long expected copper shortage that they thought was going to happen last year. Although not directly related to the prices Alara gets paid for its copper, Comex Copper broke through the US$5 per pound level last night and is currently trading at US$5.06 - so things are happening - 12 months ago it was trading at US$4.40 per pound.
