An interesting (disappointing?) aberration of the nexus between...

An interesting (disappointing?) aberration of the nexus between warehouse stocks and copper price is occurring.

Usually as warehouse stocks continue to drop close to serious lows copper price strengthens.

At the moment warehouse stocks are declining --- and ---copper price is declining.

Someone more knowledgeable might explain probable reasons for this anomaly.

Market anticipating declining demand leading to declining prices?
"MMM" - explanation does not seem quite right.

Institutions taking profits on hedging - or some similar sort of situation?

Just the herd following the fear and greed cycle?
Did someone just announce all mineral prices had peaked and will slump?

In line with information presented particularly by KKR one surmises pressure is building (overwhelming pressure?) on the Congo Government and the Contract Review "initiatives".
A back-pedalling by the Government and a relaxation of Review demands appears a reasonable expectation.

Until there is certainty about Review final decision and more market confidence developes Anvil share price is likely to remain at present low undervaluation - and perhaps go lower.

Looking forward in hope that a 50% surge in Anvil share price in a very short period of time ----- will eventuate.
Late this year or early next year --- hopefully.

A cashed up Anvil fully able to fund development over the next two years will be somewhat advantaged by present financial and Congo crisis.
Would be potential new mines and would be increasing mining of copper is now being hindered - hopefully leading to an extended period of firm copper prices.
And a potential surge in Anvil share price to well over $40 per share.
