Having a massive stockpile is rather pointless. A stockpile cost cash to create.
Sensible operators create sufficient stockpile to feed the plant with a bit in reserve in case mining is held up.
Creating a massive stockpile simply burns cash without getting new cash back in the door from sales.
Cash is king. Why burn a lot more cash than needed? Odd stuff in my book.
