There appears be some hestitency from investors moving into small copper mining operations but as far as battery cell production is concerned this side of the market is a booming.

Tesla being one of the largest EV manufacturers alongside BYD.Tesla transparencyis far better than BYD so I will focus on Tesla.

Tesla GigaTexas is Elons future frontrunner & home to Tesla Headquarters
    1,000 model Y's produced per week 18th June 2022
    2,000 model Y's produced per week 2nd October 2022
    3,000 model Y's produced per week 16th Dec 2022

17th Sept was 10,000 model Y production at Giga Texas
30th October was 20,000 model Y produced at GigaTexas

Elon wants 5,000 per week in Jan/Feb 2023 from GigaTexas

Giga Berlin announced 2,000 model Y's/week production on 2nd Oct 2022

Fremont reported 600,000 run rate per year back in May 2022. By September Fremont announced it was producing 12,000 vehicles per week(624K run rate) & aiming for 14,000/w(728K run rate).

In October Tesla reported they can produce 2.1GWh of battery storage in a quarter. 25 megapacks per day.
For comparison, there is as much as 50 times the Model Y’s battery energy capacity in a Megapack. So an output of 25 per day is equivalent to the batteries in more than 1,000 electric cars.

Telsa Semi delivered to Pepsi Co. 20 units delivered intitially on Dec 2 with 100 units expected for 2023. Pepsi already have 36 Tesla Semi's running

Elon has confirmed the Tesla Semi uses about 1.7KWh per mile. So the battery pack is approximately 900KWh(Approx 12-15 model Y's worth)

10 years of Supercharger installations with over 40,000 chargers installed globally as reported on 23rd Novemebr 2022

I won't talk about the Cybertruck yet as that production might be 2024.

Here is the Tesla reported production figures. I substituted Q1 figures for Q4 as they are not yet reported. I think the Q4 figures will exceed 350K and likely to be closer to 400K because GigaBerlin & GigaTexas output has increased substantially since Q2. So total EV production could exceed 1.3m vehicles for the year. Note, Q2 was down due to Covid lockdowns in China and reduced production from Shanghai. Shanghai lockdown from 28th March till 19th April with 22 days of production lost and thereafter a shortage of parts including wiring looms.
