    And meanwhile on the Shanghai Futures Exchange, March 23 delivered copper benchmark contract price is 70,650 yuan or about $14814 AUD per tonne.

    Significantly higher than both the LME and the New York Commodities exchange prices.

    Physical shortages probably go someway in explaining this- but it's still a 19% difference.

    How can this be?
