Not helping the share price, being relentlessly driven in the wrong direction. This manipulating is very bad. Shorting on market and covering off market.
The covering off market is by managers of funds managing other peoples money, selling shares to shorters by not going through the market mechanism.
The responsibility of fund managers is to get the best price for those investing in their funds and this is not being achieved, by not using the market mechanism. In other words those fund managers may be conducting illegal trades. Effectively they are diddeling their customers and not for small sums of money.
If you add up all those trades and ask what would the price of the CDU shares be if those trades all went through the ASX then you could be looking at embezzlement of the order of multi millions of dollars.
Take a look at the shorting and the number of trades they do not add up.
