Hi Gypsie, you bet a smelter at Whyalla would be a fantastic event for RXM. They don't need it but this would provide another outlet for our copper, if you send it by sea as concentrate theres ore value, in smelting and sending that by sea greater value for the whole state. With the already refurbed smelter in Olympic Dam only a couple of hours up the road from Whyalla this would be a great way of taking their soon to be excess of ore from Prominent Hill, Karepetena, Hillside and one day Vulcan 32 k north of Olympic Dam (Tasman Resources). SA will one day have a truely immense copper triangle.
