Pretty interesting deal announced by MEH today. Looks like not an expensive farm in to a high grade copper resource in Canada on the Fyre Lake Project. 8.9Mt @ 1.5% Cu plus 0.5g/t Au with the ability to increase the resource. That's a good project in one of the lowest sovereign risk areas, so that is a big tick. The other mineral resources in this region are high grade as well. The Wolverine Mine is only 25km away and has a resource of 5.2Mt at 9.66% Zn, 0.91 Cu%, 1.26% Pb, 281.8 g/t Ag and 1.36 g/t Au, according to the Yukon Zinc Company website. There is another undeveloped resource close by as well which grades 7% Pb+Zn and 1% Cu and is over 10Mt. It looks like that area has good potential for more discoveries given how the deposits cluster together. It will be interesting to see how MEH progresses over the next few months as they get into this new project.
