There looks to be a strong, even, double bottom just passed in the 12 month chart for the spot price of copper, followed by a 10% rise from the last bottom. Capacity shutdowns and trouble in DRC, supply fall as well as lower demand.
LME stocks are higher, but many producers cannot sustain producing at a loss for long in this environment.
