This relates to the Cu price so if you don't think that will impact AVB regardless, can you please just ignore the rest of this post. I think there will be a supply crunch and AVB will benefit...
Well - the Chinese may have record storage tonnage at the moment and they may be promising to provide liquidity in the Cu market. But, we are heading into a supply squeeze. Talk is that when major supply comes on next year, there will be a surplus. Fact is that will not happen for reasons I have mentioned here before. Already, there are problems in Kazakhstan with strikes at high production mines.
Anyway, LME inventories are heading down to levels they have not been at since the pre-GFC boom. Word is if it gets below 200,000 tons, it is game on & it is every country for itself.
