And we just seen a increase in supply on the comex and the lme. on top of all that you have lower government spending 4.5 trillion last year v 4 trillion this AND you have definitely got supply comming at these higher price.

I am betting on a floor at US$4.50/lb for copper in the short-term. I expect to see copper prices >US$11,000 per tonne before the end of this calendar year.

There is no ceiling on the copper price longer-term, in my opinion.

Be warned copper price volatility will be the norm for the next decade but the next 3-4 years will be copper’s coming of EV age.
