Copper, zinc and nickel recorded new highs on the London Metal Exchange (LME) and aluminium hit its highest peak in nearly eighteen years, and dealers said the rally was likely to continue.
Three-months copper touched a new record of $US7,385 a tonne, before falling back to close the kerb at $US7,300, up $US80.
