Congratulations to Desert Metals on discovering a copper-silver VMS deposit at Belele!

The newly discovered Belele VMS copper-silver deposit isonly ~100km away from Sandire’s world class VMS copper/gold deposit in WA. Along the same corridor of other copper/gold/zinc VMS deposits in WA.

52metres of copper sulphide mineralisation including 44metres(thickness of an 18 story building) at 0.14%Cu and
The down hole conductance. 500metres long and 600metres wide with the conductance rising at depth, meaning the copper thickness increases at depth.

The hunt for the thicker higher grade zone commences.

The higher grade and thicker part of the copper VMS lies in the centre of the conductor, which will see follow up drilling.

"We have only just clipped the periphery of the conductor of the system. There is a large volume of conductive, potentially Cu mineralised rock, which now warrants extensive drill testing"
If you look at the image of a VMS deposit, Belele, is tipped on its side, due to 2-3Billion Years of deformation. Dr Rob Stuart states that they have only clipped the periphery (thin section of the) VMS deposit, where I have drawn a black line. Even though it is just the periphery, it is still 44metres thick, which is very exciting.

The higher grade thick zone is where the next drilling program will be targeting, purple line.

The downhole EM survey confirmed that the conductance increasing at depth means the already thick copper conductor thickens, and most likely increases in grade at depth.

We should see the assay results of the 49 drill holes from Innouendy drilled under the 5x-8x higher grade PGES in soil than Chalice's Julimar very soon.

With Nickel, Platinum, Palladium(PGEs) and Copper prices at multi year highs due to significant increase in demand from current, expanding and newly constructed EV and Grid Storage battery factories trying to secure supplies of these critical metals, it is an excellent time for Desert Metals to be exploring for them in WA.

Also looking forward to an update on the 6-7 high Siemens Conductors at Dingo Pass for Nickel Copper and PGES!
