re: copper/avl valuation Im sorry if this appears twice but my first post seems to have been swallowed into the internet ether.

Im updating my AVL worksheet and wanted you guys to play devils advocate for me.

Using production/cash cost/sales my worksheet can calculate AVL's profit in USD. I then apply the following factors in my worksheet:

    1. NPV Calculations
    2. USD-AUD conversions
    3. The effect of the Canadian Dilution
    4. Tax (im assuming zero - is that correct?)
    5. AVL only owns 90%
    6. Capex and cost of borrowing

Am I missing anything here. A million here or there for admin etc? Anything else significant?

One other question. My calculations show a mine life of around 5 more years based on the current resource statement. I have looked back through company announcements but cannot find the companies announcements about expected extentions to the mine life. For some reason 8+ years rings a bell, but I could be getting that confused with another miner. Has BT or AVL made any ann. regarding their hopes for mine life extention?

    Thanks a bunch
    Charlie
