Money will need to move from oil to other commodities in the transition to a low carbon economy — magnets (rare earths) and motors (copper) will play a big part in this.
The S&P500 and gold have been running in parallel since 2018. They both look very steep, Gold starting in the lead the way and push higher. Wonder if we are at the start of inflation pressures that will see a 1980s style gold gap up. Don’t really know how else high debt levels will be expunged.
