This video "Copperton South Africa - Expected to find an abandoned mine" ... popped up in my
You Tube feed yesterday which I found quite interesting.
It is two years old - filmed by a couple travelling SA.
All the video is worth watching over a morning or afternoon tea - or if short on time after 9.30 mins.
Shows the immediate area around ORN's Preiska mine and the Copperton townsite which I believe
was/is part of the Preiska mine. They had to sign in to get into the mining town.
There is a bit of work to do to get the town up to scratch but still a lot of good stuff there.
The also mention a part of the town that has activity and more security but they could not access.
A very realistic video - it is just like you are there.
