The monthly Coppock indicator for the DJIA and SPX (for which the Coppock was originally devised) both went above zero in January 2010, signaling confirmation of a new bull trend. This is only the third time the signal has occurred in the past 20 years, the other occasions being in March 1991 and October 2003. The Coppock indicator is a slow but very reliable indicator (however no indicator is perfectly however).
The monthly Coppock indicator for the ASX 200 and All Ordinaries went above zero in December 2009.
