What can the libs do? Gillard (not Abbott) has control of both houses via the greens so there is little the libs can do until AFTER the next election. It may still take time until voters clean out the senate of obstructionists who continue to refuse the majority will of the people.
It would seem the libs are wise to let this to run it's course for now and let as much information as possible gather. Perhaps a royal commission down the track will sort it out.
Abbott has no need to vilify Gillard - it seems she has done it all herself so far and is literally handing government to Abbott by going against the majority will of the people over several major issues.
