moosey
i haven't seen any response from the company towards these patents - has the company ever expressed a position as to whether it believes the BAE and US patents improve on the intellectual property owned by MST, in which case MST would be entitled to licence fees? - or has there been any intellectual property advices obtained by the company advising that the BAE and/or US patents are novel in their own rights, and therefore do not involve any use of MST IP rights?
I'm really not sure how I feel about these other patents yet - my first thought was that they directly rely upon MST IP rights, but this needs to be answered unequivocally - these questions directly impact the future profitability of the company - any strongly adverse legal/IP opinions could very well conclude the existence of major competitors to MST technology from whom MST could expect no licence/royalty fees whatsoever - particularly disturbing if the US military decided to go with 'home grown technology', which wouldn't be surprising at all.
good luck
