No i don't think he was dumped for that reason.
We could sit here all day and speculate the reasons.
I feel it could have come down to remuneration for Al, he has put a lot of work into CTS, gaining 100% of corachapi was a real coup.. i wonder if the other directors didn't want to come to the table based on his asking price to continue heading up the company.
This seems to be the most likely reason for me.
He only held 220,000 shares, and was given no performance options... Pretty raw deal compared to the likes of CDU et al who issue millions of options. I see no reason why CTS couldn't have a performance based option scheme for its directors..
Regardless, the wheels are in motion for the drilling. We should be hearing of the permit to commence drilling soon....
Then we need results and financing.. And a new MD.
