coral reefs in a more acid ocean, page-4

Maybe it was this that caught your eye, Seden33.

The fact that CO2 bubbles released in shallow waters
    dissolve very rapidly...

Indicating how easily CO2 dissolves in water. AFAIK, at present, nearly half (45%) the extra CO2 emissions each year are absorbed by the ocean. Even though the oceans are vast, it's still a lot of CO2 to add and is measurably lowering the pH of the ocean. That's what the article I found was discussing as well. The limits of coral reef viability in regard to pH.

I know there is other research on this and we should find out more, hopefully before we've harmed too many coral reefs.
