Iron Mike, what a self-righteous, condescending, pompous post! So ironic that you are on your soap box criticising people for being self-righteous and holier than though.

Where do you get off calling people "hypocrites", "pompous" and "self-righteous" because they have an opinion that she is likely to be guilty, which clearly doesn't conform to your way of thinking.


The self-satisfied squawkers so quick to put their boots into Corby as you say are NOT SO QUICK to put their boot in. A lot of those "self-satisfied squawkers" probably believed in her innocents but have had 9 years to form an opinion. NOT SO QUICK mate!

And where do you get off criticising people for forming a view which is very topical and has received more media exposure than any other drugs case in Australian history. So, don't criticise us for forming opinions, criticise the media that turned this into a circus and chose to defend Corby more so than any other drug mule wasting away in an overseas prison who gets nowhere near the support that Corby has had and will not get a cent out of their stories.

You carry on as though pot is nothing. Who are you to speak for the Indonesians. Just because pot is nothing to us, doesn't mean the Indonesians feel that way. Fact is, every person who smuggles drugs into Asia knows what they are getting themselves into, so don't come here shouting from your soap box that Indonesia have got it wrong. Drugs are drugs to the Indonesians. If you are so concerned about our drug problem perhaps you should open a post criticising our legal system for such lenient laws for smuggling illicit drugs into Australia. I would be only happy to contribute.

Fact is mate, she was caught in possession of 4kg of marijuana. Every smuggler uses the same excuse that someone else packed it. Her family history and links to "mr Bigs" as you say, suggest that she is likely to be guilty more so than not in my books and a lot of others.

So, don't sit in judgement of everybody who forms an opinion based on a case which occupies every news bulletin and front page of every paper. And don't sit in judgement when people are critical of the woman profiting so greatly from it.

Maybe if we didn't have the likes of the Corbys in our country, perhaps our drug problem wouldn't be what it is today. And we all know for a FACT that her brother is mixed up in it and looks as though the father was entrenched in the drug trade. It's the Corbys of Australia that flood the market with illicit drugs, including the more dangerous ones you speak of.
