It is a contradiction to call Indonesian officials "trusted" - as everyone knows (except Baxter perhaps), Indonesian officials are among the world's most corrupt, notoriously open to bribes, in many cases threatening people with trumped up prosecution unless they pay a bribe.

You say that Indonesians don't like to lose face. No doubt you are correct in saying this. However, I hope that Australia now gives Indonesia a very simple choice: lose face or lose a shitload of money.
