"One thing schapelles defence lawyer couldn't understand was why she refused an offer by the feds to test the stuff to determine its origin."

Radioactive, do you have a link to that at all?

According to this document, she wanted to test for origin. The AFP, after repeated requests, responded by saying they were refused a sample. Why they didn't insist, and why the Indonesians then quickly put the lot on the bonfire without testing for origin, is very suspect.

Strange too how this was the ONLY time drugs were ever intercepted coming in from Australia. No matter how stupid or naive you are, taking marijuana to Bali, where dope is a small fraction of the price, just makes no sense whatsoever.

It sounds to me like a baggage handler at Sydney airport was tipped off about 9.9kg of cocaine being didcovered by a customs official and got rid of the marijuana into a boogie board bag just to get rid of it.

"It has since emerged, courtesy of a Freedom of Information (FOI) request that a South American plane carrying a consignment of cocaine (and central to Operation Mocha) was definitely on the ground at Sydney International Airport at exactly the same time as Schapelle Corby passed through in transit to Bali [8][33].
The FOI data reveals that on 8th October 2004 Lan Airlines flight 801 with the drugs shipment on board landed at Sydney International Airport at 7:50 am while Australian Airlines flight AO7829, which Schapelle Corby and three companions traveled to Bali on, departed Sydney at 11:12 am. The overlap is well over three hours, with Schapelle Corby arriving at 7:30 am."

Strange also that Schapelle's boogie-board bag was the ONLY one not scanned at Sydney airport.

I'm not saying she's innocent, but there's some compelling evidence that she might be.
