Just bought a new battery drill today that came with lithium-iron batteries. Apparently should last up to 10 years compared to Ni-Cads 1-2 years tops. Also apparently all major brands are moving to this as NiCad will not be acceptable in Europe soon, I'm assuming because of the carcigenic nature of cadmium. Just another market for lithium to be used in.
