I had recently read a paper investigating OVs with respect a highly vaccinated population WRT covid.
The final wash up was that the pox virus (mostly used for OV) had enough difference to the Covid virus that the increased targeted antibodies resulted from the vaccine, would have no effect on the OV effectivness.
One of the advantages of Mrna tech is that is agile and highly targeted. Kind of like how chlorotoxin binds only to GBM cells, leaving non GBM cells alone.
