atomou they need to be asked whether we need to change the national anthem to something more akin to our foreign policy of participation in displacing millions in following the US of A into endless wars. Advance Australia Fair doesn’t seem to sound quite right anymore and can’t possibly reflect the characteristics of this country.
Don’t expect much change from Labor because we are backing ourselves into a corner with the current policy on both sides of continually building US bases in this country, we may as well debate a US dollar and “Star Spangled Banner” in favour of the Aussie Dollar and “Advance Australia Fair” because that’s the way we are heading.
What about some of the budget surplus going to Syria to help ease the Iraqi refugee crises crippling that country? Or should they send a proportion of the (1,500,000 that’s on the way to 2,000,000) Iraqi refuges on boats to us in thanks for our contribution to the "hell on earth" that has become that country?
