Time I think for SDL holders to look at the wider world & realise that SDL has a very valuable resource which imo China wd be insane to walk away from. I think if Hanlong deal implodes, other parties will step forward [probably with Chinese SOE involvement]. As I keep saying this is more than Mbalam / Nabeba - it is the whole region which just looks far too good for the Chinese to exit at this point.

imo Hanlong will happen but I disagree with those who think that Hanlong is the only game in town. It is crazy to suppose that China isn't mustard keen. Guys like Baukaw are being simplistic on this. If SDL were asked again for more time before the 26th & then told China that they were not going to agree then I think we wd all be surprised at the speeed at which the Chinese cheque book wd come out.
