BC 01/08/13 going to test Trachyte host rock, alteration and gold mineralization down to ~400m. This will be important if the anticline shows open FROM 300 m S/W of the pit. Not sure of the detailed geology here, but if there are intrusions into the Trachyte at a distance from the known deposit, then we will potentially have a source at depth OR even further south west. Could be a large system if the deep holes return mineralization. As AT will likely tell you, promising alteration and rock type doesn’t always yield gold, but we do know gold already exists below the pit. The next 3 D model should be very interesting.
