cornerstone disillusionment

Out of 40 stocks held in my portfolio, INL (currently at about a 2% portfolio weighting) has incurred by far the largest absolute loss for any single stock. It was a dumb investment decision to be swayed by innovative technology alone, and then to have kept participating in one capital raising after another over a 6 year period in the hope of a break-through (despite some questionable management decisions). On current share price the holding is worth less than 20% of average purchase price, and it is emotionally hard to sell at this level. Illogical I know, but unless a substantial recovery is just round the corner, Id prefer to see the company wound up and La Jolla deprived of the opportunity of making further profits at the expense of the original shareholders. It would be worth sacrificing the residual amount invested for the satisfaction of this outcome.
