Jun 2012 we were "a few weeks" away from GCL taking 5% of LNC at $4 per share and Linc apparently declined to proceeed on the basis that there was so much demand in asia.
We now sign up a done deal for an asian cornerstone taking 8% at $1.05 AUD....
7 months ago with the SP at $3+ $250M convertible bonds issued with a conversion price of $3.40 Now as I understand it, because of the delist/relist the convertible bonds can now convert at current price of circa $1.05 AUD instead of $3.40.
IMO the Market may have trouble understanding management strategy with the SGX move. The logic in these decisions is so broken one can only be suspicious that someobody else other than oneself is a beneficiary of these actions. Who? Why?
Reminds me of a joke
Which is worse - ignorance or apathy?
