I don't share the view that this is going to be an SPP. I don't think there is time for that now;
Still time if they intend on a combined funding approach. That's how its usually done, quick funding organised from sophisticated investors - giving needed cash injection immediately - followed by an SPP for loyal shareholders giving the funding for needs further out.
Personally I don't mind the opportunity to purchase more shares under an SPP or preferably rights issue.
