Access to reasonably priced data whilst overseas is one of the hardest things to buy of all telco services IMO.
I travel quite extensively, and whilst I'm happy to stomach the cost of 3G calls whilst in roaming mode , I get totally fed up with buying a local sim for data.
What NOR are offering is a total telco service off an existing number that doesn't 1)cost an arm and a leg and 2) waste valuable time sorting out the comms whilst traveling. This is a smart solution to a global problem.
Furthermore, using excess capacity on international networks to deliver a service for users in developing countries that can't afford a network service normally, is a massive market.
NOR is on the cusp of something pretty special IMO.
