It seems easy when you put it like that and having grown up 'out west' 'social distance' and some down time is easy for me, but I know my wife and daughter like more social interaction and are starting to feel isolated.
But if you have just had your business shut down - possibly going to lose it it this continues - or you no longer have a job and may not get it back it will be very stressful sitting at home with naught but your thoughts. What about people that really enjoy playing sports and the social interaction it provides.
Depression, suicide, increased family violence, increased drug and alcohol usage are likely. I'd say too, if it does extend for several months, people will become habituated to this and find it difficult to go out again and look for jobs etc.
We are lucky that we can interact a lot with modern social platforms but it is not really a good substitute for sitting down with a mate for a chat over a beer.
