Top up during disasters when they turn up buying opportunities, history is littered with examples of this, war, famine, outbreaks, it doesn't matter, it's only ever short lived.
It's financial diseases that spread worse and have a longer term effect, like "The Great Depression", "The 87 stock market crash", "The financial crises", "The Tech Wreck", etc, etc.
