Biggest risk factors, age, being immunocompromised or being a smoker; seems like everyone else will just experience mild symptoms.

The countries that are hardest hit also have high smoker populations; and in Asia lifelong exposure to poor air quality may also be a factor..

anyways if it is not COVID-19; it will be something else causing fear and hysteria. also if the worlds population is not massively reduced by COVID-19, nature will just create something else. Exponential consumption growth really has gone too far with over-exploitation of resources and disruption to ecosystem processes. Nature abhors imbalance and seeks to restore it. As much as I have human empathy, and don't wish suffering on anyone, least of all my family or countrymen - I accept the laws of nature.

As individuals there are precautions we can take, maybe just self-isolate if you have any of the risk factors. Take time out in the desert or roadtrip to some remote wilderness area for a camping holiday.
