No chance... government doesn’t pay, it taxes. Maybe if us workers were told to stay home and live off savings or fill out a 200 page form to try to claim a benefit. Centrelink payments would have to continue obviously, no use in upsetting labour voters that could potentially be swayed to switch sides.
