Notice how there have been only 102 deaths from Covid-19 after 6 months in Australia. Google showed people followed lockdown isolation for only 2 weeks before straying. Mass congregations throughout lockdown in Bunnings and Woolies while more than 3 million people in Queensland were told to turn out for a local government election tomorrow despite national warnings to avoid crowds to slow the spread of the deadly???? coronavirus. Lucky Covid-19 is not the killer virus our Government and knowledgeable Medical advisors anticipated and still make it out to be or we would all be dead.
Time to stop this futile attempt to eliminate a mild virus at the expense of wrecking our Western way of life. Time for Scotty and his mates to stop thinking about the next election, admit they overreacted and let our society, especially small business try and recover.

This weeks smoke screen on the unknown cyber attacker shows that the fear factor of COVID-19 has just about run its race.
Now today we have
STOP THE SECOND WAVE.
What a joke. The waves of influenza have been rolling in for centuries and COVID-19 waves will do the same.
What happened to the bullshit talk of a vaccine with 3 to 6 months. SAR's showed the complexity of this and still our Government and Medical Advisors pushed the false hope button. Now they have backflipped on this. Same with initial talk of the elimination.
Our Government and Advisors always knew that there would be no magic vaccination and elimination was impossible. Why are people so easily led?
Back in March, there were just not enough deaths worldwide (That is people who died solely of Covid-19 and were not 80 and older with pre-existing terminal illnesses) to justify the draconian action which is destroying our world.
People are beginning to wake up to the political grandstanding and are beginning to rebel. I do not mean protesters but small business owners who are beginning to say "Get stuffed, I'm going to open up so my kids can eat". What a load of rubbish these overused cliches are: "We must all work through this together" or "We must all carry the load". It has been the private sector alone which has carried the full load of Covid-19, while our public servants have prospered. Covid-19 has been the biggest attack on Capitalism the world has ever seen.
We don't test for +ve cases of influenza or common cold (which incidentally can be a coronavirus), we just record deaths. Time to take this stance with Covid-19. The only fact that interests me is that after a minimum of 6 months and 8 billion people in the world, only 460,000 have died WITH Covid-19 and a whole lot less that have died solely from COVID-19. If the initial data out of Italy are something to go by, the REAL number of COVID-19 deaths in the world after 6 months could be only 55,000 or 0.0006875% of the world's population. Around 5 million people die in the World each year from smoking which is 0.0625%. Maybe the best treatment for COVID-19 is to show people just how big 8 billion is, and teach them how to use a calculator.
We cannot move forward by locking down each time we have 20 or so new Covid-19 +ve tests. Our Politicians need to grow up and drop their unachievable utopian plan. Time to do what they should have done from the beginning, isolate the sick and let the healthy work.
When will this rot stop? We cannot stop a virus, we have to accept it and learn to live with.
