See Vector’s post re steel production in wUhan, it is the mainland’s equivalent of Detroit. so IMHO it is impractical to discuss it otherwise imho.
Take iron ore, and steel production. HRC steel is up which indicates a rebalance to the west over the east.
Western steel companies may be favored by the new administration if changes occur in Beijing, as a result of coronavirus.
