Corona... what Corona?

Huge jump in the Dow overnight (highest point gain ever)
Was expected, people were getting bored with all the Corona virus news (yawn)
which is getting repetitive on a daily basis without any great increases in infections worldwide.

Another factor contributing is China's amazing recovery from the worst of the virus, with many
infected people recovering and few now dying. The same thing should happen in Europe and US
as it gets over the worst in about a week or 2 from now.

These factors have not been mentioned much in the financial markets news, they saying that
the reason for the rise being the Central Banks support by proposing decreasing the funds rate.
Perhaps this had some effect, but in any case cant complain about a 5% rise in the Dow.
