But how does covid19 cause death; remember it only affects the lung and death is caused reperatory failure or pneumonia. Experimatal work in China has shown that stem cell treatment has cured 9 persons with these illnesses caused by covid19 and the Japanese governemnt has given the go ahead to market this treatment in Japan and I would expect the FDA to approve this treatment shortly under its emergency powers. I know this is off topic and but the upshot is is that covid might no be as bad as first thought as the effects of the virus appear to have a treatment now.
