This is the way I see it. Some people are asymptomatic to the virus and that is for the rest of they life.They go around and spread the virus. Some died and some become asymptomatic like the one who gave them the virus. Asymptomatic transmission definitely makes containment more difficult, almost impossible.That mean there is no way we can keep out the virus to go around. May be, we should lock the asymptomatic , but how could we known who is asymptomatic. Only testing is the answer.The only way out of the pandemic is to vaccinate people.At the present time we don't have a vaccine. Would it be save to vaccine the asymptomatic one?
