Droplet transmission (large ones and small ones) are the reason I pushed some politicians to mandate masks in public places from the beginning of March.
I remain angered and frustrated by key members of the medical profession who are too stuck up themselves to listen to anyone else. Doctors pretend (falsely) that everyone else including qualified epedimiologists are lesser mortals who can be ignored.
Nor are doctors necessarily good business administators. In Victoria they consistently overlook the quality assurance measures that are supposed to overlay quarantine. Today I read that many people in Victorian quarantine received texts to say they could end quarantine prematurely.
Part of the problem is the poliricisation of senior public service positions and Government "appointments"
